Everybody knows that Teresa Giudice is the face of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She may not be everyone’s favorite, but she helped put the Housewives franchise on the map. Likewise, Joe Giudice is one of the most iconic husbands from any of these shows despite not being on for several seasons now. Recently, Joe sat down with his ex-wife and shared his favorite and least favorite moments from being a cast member. Plus, he has an update on his deportation case.

Longtime fans of RHONJ know that Joe and Teresa were on the show from the beginning. However, he went to prison during the show’s seventh season. Joe served 41 months and was released in 2019 and was deported to Italy following his sentence.

Recently, Joe appeared on Teresa’s Turning the Tables podcast and reflected on his time on RHONJ. One of the most notable parts came when Teresa asked him about his most memorable moment from the show. He responded, “I mean, it was a lot of good moments on the show with the kids and everything.”

Joe went on, “They were so cute and little. I never really watched the show but just from those clips that are on TikTok and whatnot, they’re cute. You running around with them and dressing them and doing this and doing that. Those were actually the good parts of the show.”

Next, the RHONJ star asked Joe about his cringiest moments from his time on the show. He said, “I guess when your brother came on and everybody. That’s when it started getting cringy.”

Teresa then mentioned the scenes that took place in Nappa Valley and highlighted how “cringy” they were for them.

He continued, “I mean, the first three years were actually pretty good. You had Danielle on there. You had the original people who were on.”

As fans know, Joe currently lives in Nassau, Bahamas. However, he wants to make his way back Stateside in order to be closer to his daughters. According to Bravo, while on her podcast, Teresa asked him what he misses the most about the U.S. He responded, “Well, I mean, you got friends, family. I mean, everything.”

Joe then said, “You grow up someplace, you get used to everything. I mean, that’s why I adapt[ed] here in the Bahamas, Nassau, because it’s kind of like Americanized, and I always see American people here. So, I kind of feel like I’m close to home. When I was in Italy, it wasn’t really the same. It was nice, but it just felt far. Like, here, it’s close. It’s only two-and-a-half hours away, and I guess because everybody comes and visits me, I don’t feel like I’m too far.”

He added, “I’m always doing something… It’s always rotating. A revolving door.”

They also discussed his deportation case and where it stands. According to the RHONJ alum, “I got a lawyer working on something, but she’s been working on it and hasn’t done anything yet, so, I don’t know, we’ll see. I mean, I did get in front of the embassy and they denied me … and that was it. I paid a bunch of money for that, so… I went, and it took not even five minutes, and they denied it, so I’m done with this crap. It is what it is.”

Joe also confirmed that he remains close to his daughters despite being so far away. He explained, “Well, I stay close to them because we talk every day on Snapchat. Audriana, every day I’m with her on Snapchat, like at least four times a day. Milania, same thing [and] Gabriella.”

He continued, “Gia calls me a lot, and they come and visit a lot, so.”

They also confirmed on the podcast that “Joe is dating his third lawyer now.” Additionally, he is currently working in construction and training for a boxing match. He also does cooking videos.

Fans can listen to Teresa’s podcast on all platforms.
