Jessie J has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The English singer-songwriter took to Instagram on Tuesday to reluctantly reveal a shocking truth: she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, though, she says they’ve caught it “early.” The Price Tag singer told fans:
“Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.’”

She went on to reveal that she will likely undergo surgery to treat it sometime after the June 15 Summertime Ball 2025 in London. She joked in a moment of optimism:
“It’s a very dramatic way to get a boob job. I will come back with massive tits and more music.”

In a subsequent Story post, the 37-year-old vulnerably admitted “I need a hug” after revealing the deeply personal news:
