Jennifer Aydin Reveals Insulting Term Danielle Called Her Kids

Jennifer Aydin looked back on the drama she faced with Danielle Cabral at The Real Housewives of New Jersey finale on Tuesday.

While appearing on a podcast, Jennifer, 47, detailed her encounter with Danielle, 39, accused her producers of allowing her castmate to “abuse” her, and offered an update on where she stands with Jennifer Fessler, 56, and Dolores Catania, 53, while also revealing what she wanted to say at the canceled reunion and dishing on her marriage to Bill Aydin, 51.

“[Danielle] threw a pitcher at me,” Jennifer revealed on the September 24 episode of the AllAboutTRH podcast. “When you go to Rails, they usually have these pitchers of water. They kind of look like Kool-Aid bottles with the handle. It’s kind of a melamine material. It’s not glass. And she was going on and on about me.”

According to Jennifer, Danielle first alleged that she had “no friends” and that her husband, Bill, didn’t care about her. Then, Danielle accused her of wanting her life — even though Jennifer believes it is Danielle who wants her life.

“I’m not one to sit here and brag. But we were filming a scene one day where her and Dolores came in my backyard. She came in first. She sat down in my backyard and she looked at my backyard and she was like, ‘This is what I want. This is the dream,’” Jennifer revealed.

As for Danielle’s suggestion that Bill doesn’t care about her, Jennifer labeled the diss as a “false narrative” used to hurt her and said it doesn’t work.

“My husband, he’s on my sh*t and I don’t need to prove that to anybody,” she insisted.

Jennifer then explained that Danielle’s comments about Bill were what triggered her to mention Danielle’s husband, Nate Cabral.

“I go, ‘Yeah, your husband with the boobs and you got the brawn.’ She’s brawny. And I didn’t do that to insult her husband,” Jennifer noted. “He was the last thing on my mind. I did it because it was like just a quick comeback that came into my head in an attempt to rebut what she was trying to say about my husband.”

From there, things accelerated between Jennifer and Danielle, with Jennifer requesting she be removed from the scene.

“As they were throwing her out — because I wanted her thrown out because I had production tell both of us not to say anything, not to do anything, that we have to be on our best behavior … she said, ‘You and your wack job kids,’” Jennifer recalled.

Although Jennifer acknowledged that Danielle bringing up her kids was a “big deal,” she seemed to understand why the moment was cut from the season.

“I think the reason they cut it out is because there was no context because the reason she said that is because right before she threw the pitcher at me, it was this narrative that she was telling me all season that I had no friends, which was really ridiculous, which is I think why it didn’t make it to the final cut,” she stated. “And I was like, ‘Listen, I was just at one of your parties, dude, your communion, and that sh*t was empty. My parties are packed.’ And when I said that, she went crazy. She’s like, ‘Look at her talking about my kids!’ I’m like, I didn’t say anything about your kids. I didn’t even say ‘kids communion.’ I just said communion.”

Still, the scene being removed from the show was “[really] disappointing to Jennifer, considering how much was shown that was said about her.

“It’s like, ‘Well, you included a lot of the things she said about me, where she shades me and belittles me and insults me. You put a lot of that in, or a lot in, more than mine,’” she noted.

Overall, Jennifer felt she took a lot of abuse during season 14.

“I let [Danielle] abuse me the night of the Namaste B$tches podcast. She abused me in that room and I sat there and took it because I wanted to be a good employee. I wanted to be respectful, and I just thought she was getting so ugly, and nobody stuck up for me. I even got yelled at and I was crying,” she recalled.

Reflecting on her emotional moment at the podcast event, Jennifer admitted to yelling at her producers, telling them, “It was too soon. What the f*ck was that? What the f*ck was that? You put me in a 4X4 with her and let her antagonize me like that? And I just have to sit there and take it?”

Jennifer felt that she was being treated unfairly — and that there were double standards present.

“I am told I can’t do anything. She’s going on and on and weren’t we not allowed to do that?” she asked.

Despite how heated things got between her and Danielle, Jennifer suggested they could one day reconcile.

“I feel like I could move on but it takes two,” she noted.

As for the rest of the RHONJ cast, Jennifer confirmed she’s no longer in touch with Fessler due to the way she handled her fight with Danielle.

“I do not speak with her. I thought [our friendship was blossoming]. Obviously, I saw what she said at the reunion special. It was disappointing to me because she automatically was like, ‘Wow, that didn’t take her long did it? I saw that Jen pushed you first and I’m sorry I took her side,’” she recalled. “Jen didn’t know she pushed her first! I didn’t remember how I did it because it was a reflex and if you were a real friend of mine, you would’ve been like, ‘I know Jen would never be so violent,’ especially after the fact when I was telling her the whole night how bad I felt about it.”

“People didn’t realize why I was turned off by her when we started filming. They all thought it was because she had befriended the other team when in actually a few things had happened off camera that I was like, ‘Maybe this girl’s not my cup of tea.’ And that’s okay. I felt Jen Fessler was getting to know my vibe. She was like, ‘Oh my God. You feel remorseful. She doesn’t even feel remorseful.’ But obviously, it didn’t stick,” Jennifer continued. “Oh well, easy come, easy go.”

Moving on to Dolores, Jennifer confirmed they’re “cool” and have no “bad blood,” although they “don’t really talk.”

“I haven’t really spoken to her too much. She’s been busy traveling and what she said on Watch What Happens Live really hurt my feelings,” she added, seemingly signaling Dolores’ claim that she was more responsible for her fight with Danielle than Danielle.

Following a divisive season, Jennifer said she was “absolutely” shocked to hear that Bravo had canceled the reunion.

“I never thought that they would get to that. I know historically they did it before for [The Real Housewives of New York City] but I feel like that was a different, more deep-rooted issue,” she reasoned.

If there had been a reunion, Jennifer would’ve liked to rehash her drama with Danielle.

“I think for the most part I just wanted to basically tell Danielle that when I pushed her, it really was just a reflex and I can’t apologize for my reflex. My reflex is an action that is done unconsciously based on whatever it is that I’m going through. So I wouldn’t have apologized but I would have said that I wished that it didn’t come to that,” she revealed. “And I would’ve liked to have seen what her answer would have been because it doesn’t seem like she cares to show any sort of remorse or regret about the whole incident.”

“Listen, I’m a tough cookie. It’s all about showing accountability. I saw my behavior. I would have liked the opportunity to say, ‘I wish it didn’t go down that way,’ and see what she had to say,” she added.

Also, on the podcast, Jennifer looked back on the drama surrounding Bill’s past affair.

“I owned it and I shared my husband’s story because I thought there was power in my story in that you don’t leave a good man who did a bad thing. We are committed to the commitment. He’s a gentleman and he fights for me and he fights for my kids,” she stated. “Unless it’s really bad, we can work it out. He ain’t going nowhere and if he does, it’s gonna be very expensive for him and then I’ll be like, the rich milf. He don’t wanna see that.”

Regarding how the kids were doing, Jennifer said, “My kids did get over it and now we really have no secrets and now I can really just teach them that sometimes relationships are work and you don’t just give up at the sign of one little crack.”

“Make sure this is not repairable before you throw everything away and don’t decide anything on emotion,” she added,

The Real Housewives of New Jersey is on pause ahead of season 15.
