JAY-Z Enjoys Daddy-Daughter Time At Super Bowl In Reebok Sneakers

Las Vegas, NV –

JAY-Z pulled out some rare sneakers while enjoying some quality daddy-daughter time at Super Bowl LVIII.

It was a family affair for the Carters, who on Sunday (February 11) were seen soaking up football’s biggest game of the year in Las Vegas.

During the festivities, Hov was captured hanging out on the sidelines with his daughters, Blue Ivy, 12, and Rumi, 6 — the latter of whom has largely remained out of the public eye.

As fans witnessed the rap mogul doting on his daughters, they also noticed the iconic S. Carter Reebok sneakers that he was wearing on his feet.

The Gucci-inspired shoes were originally released in 2002 and, along with 50 Cent’s own collaboration with the sportswear brand, led to a substantial increase in sales and market share for Reebok.

Jay’s partnership with the company continued for four years before they parted ways.

Despite JAY-Z’s sneaker flex, it was his wife Beyoncé who arguably stole the Super Bowl spotlight as she announced the release date for her new album Renaissance: act ii.

The multi-layered reveal began with a starring role in Verizon’s Super Bowl ad, which centered around the singer’s ambitious efforts to “break the internet” — from introducing a robot version of herself to running for president.

The commercial concludes with Bey saying: “Okay, they ready, drop the new music.” Sure enough, moments later, she released a Texas-themed trailer for her next project, which is set to arrive on March 29.

Queen Bey also shared the first two singles from her album: “Texas Hold ‘Em” and “16 Carriages.” The surprise drops followed speculation that Beyoncé was working on a country album.

It was previously reported that the third and final installment in the Renaissance trilogy will be a collaborative album between Beyoncé and JAY-Z.

The couple previously joined forces in 2018 for Everything Is Love, which was released by surprise during their On the Run II Tour.
