Jax Taylor addressed rumors of a split from wife Brittany Cartwright in a series of Instagram comments over the weekend.
After fans began to suspect the Vanderpump Rules couple was living separately ahead of the upcoming premiere of The Valley, Jax, 44, reacted to the claims while also sparking outrage as he posed for what many felt was a far too friendly pic with his female publicist.
“Is him [and] Brittany not together anymore?” a fan had asked on Instagram, as seen in a series of screenshots posted by The Bravo Babe on X, formerly known as Twitter.
“Why would you say that … I can’t take a trip [without] my wife for work?” Jax wondered in response, signaling to the trip to Montreal he took with Tom Schwartz, 40.
Then, after someone noted that there were online reports that suggested Jax had “cheated” on Brittany, 35, another person mentioned something that had allegedly gone down in Las Vegas.
“There’s rumors going around you had another Vegas fiasco which honestly would be great for ratings but horrible for a family to go [through],” the second person wrote.
Still, Jax seemed to shoot down the idea of a breakup.
“Wow… after everything that happened… seriously,” he stated.

Also on Instagram over the weekend, amid his trip to Montreal with Schwartz, Jax shared a photo of himself posing cheek-to-cheek with his publicist.
“Dinner in Montreal,” he wrote in the caption of an Instagram Story post.
After seeing the picture, as seen in a post reshared by All About the Real Housewives on Instagram, TikTok user Leta_b*tchknow noted how upset they would be if their husband had shared such a photo on their own page.

In the comments, some defended Jax, saying, “She’s his publicist. Stop it guys!” Others were more critical, though.
“A publicity stunt because The Valley has not gotten any traction. Even if the rumors were true [Brittany] would never leave him. I’m calling it now, that show is going to be terrible!” one person suspected.
Then, after someone said they’d opt for “divorce,” All About the Real Housewives agreed, saying, “Immediately.”
“There could be videos of him banging his publicist and [Brittany] would still stay with him,” another person alleged.
With rumors continuing to swirl, despite Jax’s comments, Jax and Brittany were seen FaceTiming with their two-year-old son Cruz.
As seen in a screenshot shared by a Pump Rules fan page on Instagram, Jax took some time out of his Montreal getaway to say “hi” to Brittany and their boy.
The Valley season one will premiere sometime this spring on Bravo.
