What’s the story behind the story? What inspired you to write Glory’s Key?
I wrote this in honor of my mom who passed away from cancer in 2021. She always encouraged me to “land the plane” and publish my writing.

“You Don’t Own Me” by Leslie Gore.
What’s your favorite genre to read? Is it the same as your favorite genre to write?
Romance; Penelope Ward, Kathy Millay, and of course Colleen Hoover. CH and I both love the Avett Brothers!.
What books are on your TBR pile right now?
The Heart’s Invisible Furies by John Boyne.
What scene in your book was your favorite to write?
The scene where Glory plays with a dolphin and inadvertently reveals a secret to Ellis.
Do you have any quirky writing habits? (lucky mugs, cats on laps, etc.)
I write as my four kids play around me. I put in my ear buds and blast the sound of rain or other nature sounds.
Do you have a motto, quote, or philosophy you live by?
“Do not go gently into that good night.”
If you could choose one thing for readers to remember after reading your book, what would it be?
