‘Inside The NFL’ Reveals What Taylor Swift Told Travis Kelce As They Kissed Post-Super Bowl Win

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce ended Super Bowl LVIII with a kiss like a fairy-tale ending. The NFL has leaned into the coverage between the singer-songwriter and the Kansas City Chiefs star and now they have released audio of the couple leading up to the kiss.

Cameras and microphones caught the moment Swift and Kelce celebrated the Chiefs taking the Lombardi trophy with a kiss and Inside the NFL dropped the footage in the “Mic’d Up” segment.

“Thank you for coming, baby,” Kelce told Swift on the field. “Thank you. Thank you for the support.”

As the couple hugged, Swift said, “Oh, I cannot believe that. I can’t believe you! How did you do that?”

Kelce also thanked Swift “for making it halfway across the world” to see him in Las Vegas face off the San Francisco 49ers. The night before, Swift performed in Tokyo as part of The Eras Tour. Swift’s journey from Japan to the States was closely followed by fans who cheered her on every step of the way.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell commented on the “Taylor Swift Effect” the “Bejeweled” singer has had on ratings and coverage.

“Having the Taylor Swift effect is also a positive,” Goodell said during a press conference ahead of the Super Bowl. “Both Travis and Taylor are wonderful young people, they seem very happy. She knows great entertainment and I think that’s why she loves NFL football. I think it’s great to have her a part of it. Obviously, it creates a buzz, another group of young fans. Particularly young women.”
