Seven Seas Entertainment’s Wonderful Wednesday says: Valentine’s who?! We only celebrate GaLentine’s Week in this household!
Every year, Seven Seas turns February 14th into a week-long event and celebrates under the hashtag #yuriVday on X (formerly known as Twitter). Fans who love Girls’ Love manga share their favorite series, find inspiration, and exchange recommendations with others. What a beautiful way to uplift the genre and spread the love!
The publisher keeps the excitement going, however. This year, they announced five brand-new Girls’ Love manga, giving readers exciting titles to anticipate in 2025. From introducing new creators to English such as Nekotarou (The Fed-Up Office Lady Wants to Serve the Villainess) to already established and fan-favorite artist such as Kodama Naoko (The Lying Bride and the Same-Sex Marriage Debate), Seven Seas expands its library to offer readers more variety. This week on Wonderful Wednesdays, there are vampires! High school girls! Office ladies who have had enough of girlboss’ing! Gay women getting entangled with married, supposedly straight women!
The Fed-Up Office Lady Wants to Serve the Villainess (Girls Love Manga)
“A frustrated office worker gets transported to the world of the visual novel she’s been playing and decides to help the villainess succeed in this fantastical isekai manga!”
Natori Midori has been giving it all at her hum-drum office job for three years now, only to have the rug pulled out from under her when she’s suddenly laid off. But just as she’s feeling lost and adrift, she is summoned to the world of the visual novel she’s currently playing, Fairy Tale of Jewels. And the person who summoned her there? None other than the game’s cruel villainess, Lapis Tenebrau, who’s trying to take down the main cast of the game. Driven into a corner, Natori pretends she’s psychic and uses her knowledge of the game to save Lapis from danger. Now Lapis has taken a shine to her, and is going to make Natori her private secretary?! Can Natori handle this new job, and her growing feelings for her villainess boss?

These fluttery feelings can only mean one thing: first love! Swoon over these budding teenage romances that celebrate girls loving girls.

Tsukushi has always admired her best friend Hinoka and cherishes their friendship over everything. But one night, she wakes from a startling dream—one where Hinoka rejects her romantically! Except, Tsukushi hadn’t ever thought of confessing feelings to Hinoka before, but this strange dream gets her thinking. Does she have feelings for Hinoka? Was the dream some kind of foreshadowing? What would Hinoka think if she knew? As Tsukushi becomes determined to figure things out, her hyperfocus actually causes her to miss signs of Hinoka’s own feelings! Will the stars align for these girls to become girlfriends? Or will they miss their chance at the perfect romance?
A Yuri Manga That Starts With Getting Rejected in a Dream Vol. 1 debuts in English in January 2026 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN. The series will be released as single-volume editions under the Seven Seas GL label (Girls’ Love/yuri titles), with ebook editions available on digital platforms.
The Lying Bride and the Same-Sex Marriage Debate (Girls Love Manga)
“A new drama-filled yuri series about two total opposites rediscovering the meaning of love and happiness—from Kodama Naoko, the creator of Days of Love at Seagull Villa, I Married My Best Friend to Shut My Parents Up, and NTR: Netsuzou Trap, all available from Seven Seas!”
Shigisawa Rei knows she’s out of step with society. While everyone around her is getting married and having babies, as a gay woman, Rei feels like those things will never happen for her. Instead of looking for romance, she’s thrown herself into her work and is content with that. That is, until she happens to run into Goto Saya, a former colleague. Saya is petite, cute, and has always been popular with men. So it’s no surprise that Rei used to have a crush on her, but she squashed those feelings when Saya got married. Now, however, Saya comes to Rei begging for help, saying she’s had a fight with her husband and has nowhere else to go. Rei quickly agrees to help her out, and soon her crush is back with a vengeance! Rei knows it’s a bad idea to fall for a married woman, but can she possibly resist Saya’s charms?!
The Lying Bride and the Same-Sex Marriage Debate Vol. 1 debuts in English in October 2025 for $13.99 USA / $17.99 CAN. The series will be available in single-volume editions under the Seven Seas GL label (Girls’ Love/yuri titles), with ebook editions on digital platforms.
Girls’ Love manga is a gift that keeps on giving. While Boys’ Love has found its footing—and it’s not a stretch to say it’s rapidly climbing the popularity ladder—Girls’ Love remains a niche within an already niche genre like romance. That’s why I commend Seven Seas Entertainment’s dedication to consistently bringing in new titles. Not only did they announce five new titles during this week’s Wonderful Wednesdays, but the variety in themes and settings is also striking. Hopefully, manga lovers who have never explored the world of GL will find something that catches their interest and make 2025 the year they finally give GL a chance!
