‘I Think She’s an Amazing Talent’

Mandy Rose recently sparked headlines by commenting on WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. In January, Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax, securing her first main roster championship.

The following week, Tiffany Stratton celebrated her victory and declared it was her time. She reminded fans she already surpassed their favorites to become the WWE Women’s Champion. Stratton also pointed out that Nia Jax let her guard down, allowing her to steal the WWE Women’s Championship.

The champion declared she was at the top of her game and demanded respect, saying, “Put some respect on my name.” Former WWE Superstar Mandy Rose reacted to the promo by accusing Stratton of using a catchphrase similar to one she used during her time in NXT. Rose also claimed that Stratton delivered it in a tone similar to hers.

Last week, when asked about Mandy Rose’s comments, Tiffany Stratton dismissed them as “sad” but didn’t seem bothered. She wished Rose well and moved on. Despite the tension, Rose recently clarified her comments, praising Stratton and calling her an amazing talent.

While speaking on the Power Alphas podcast, Mandy Rose clarified her remarks about Tiffany Stratton. She emphasized that she never criticized Stratton and had praised her before. Rose stated, “I think she’s an amazing talent. I think she’s definitely going places. And look at her, she’s the champion within, you know; she’s only been up on the main roster probably less than two years.”

Addressing the backlash, Mandy Rose dismissed claims that she was jealous of Tiffany Stratton. She stated, “People were going nuts, saying, ‘Oh my God, you’re just jealous! You’re this, you’re that. She’s done more.’ And I’m like, ‘Guys, calm down first of all.’ But kudos to Tiffany Stratton, okay, because I think she’s an incredible talent and there’s no hate, trust me.” [H/T: Sportskeeda]

With Mandy Rose clearing up her comments on Tiffany Stratton, it will be interesting to see if Stratton has any response to her.
