‘Huntington’ Movie Adds Bill Camp To Cast Led By Glen Powell
EXCLUSIVE: Bill Camp (Presumed Innocent) is the newest addition to the cast of Huntington, writer-director John Patton Ford’s revenge thriller for Studiocanal, Blueprint Pictures and A24, which stars Glen Powell.
As previously announced, Margaret Qualley, Ed Harris, Jessica Henwick, Zach Woods, Topher Grace and Raff Law are also aboard for roles.
The film follows Becket Redfellow (Powell), heir to a multibillion-dollar fortune, who will stop at nothing to get what he deserves… or what he thinks he deserves. Camp will play Warren Redfellow, the uncle of Becket, who sets him up with a corporate job. A detached and rich parent who only regrets in retrospect that he could have been a better father.
Ford’s screenplay is inspired by Studiocanal’s comedy library title Kind Hearts and Coronets. Studiocanal is fully financing the film, with Lucy Bevan handling casting. EVP Global Production Ron Halpern and SVP Global Production Joe Naftalin are overseeing the project for StudioCanal, along with Pete Czernin and Graham Broadbent at Blueprint. A24 will serve as the film’s domestic distributor.
For Ford, Huntington comes on the heels of his breakout film, Emily the Criminal, a crime thriller starring Aubrey Plaza which Roadside Attractions and Vertical released. His work on the film earned him the Independent Spirit Award for Best First Screenplay and a DGA Award nom for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in First-Time Feature Film, among other accolades.
An Emmy, SAG Award and Tony Award nominee, Camp can currently be seen starring in two different series from David E. Kelley: Presumed Innocent on Apple TV+ and A Man in Full on Netflix. Coming off of production opposite Angela Bassett and Robert De Niro on Netflix’s political thriller limited series Zero Day, the actor is represented by Innovative Artists and Franklin, Weinrib, Rudell and Vassallo.
