It’s not every day that you see a big discount on movie and TV streaming services, many of which have gone up in price over the past couple years. Hulu, Max, and Paramount Plus are each running Black Friday deals right now to entice new and returning subscribers to join. We’ve outlined details on all the discounts being offered below.
The ad-supported version of Hulu typically costs $7.99 per month, but through Nov. 28 you can get a full year of the streaming service for just $11.99. Put another way, it costs just $1 a month with this deal. While this offer doesn’t extend to bundle plans that include access to services like Disney Plus and ESPN Plus, this is still the best discount we’ve seen since Hulu raised its prices in October. This deal is open to new subscribers and to those who cancelled service more than one month ago.

In addition to awesome original programming offered on Max, including Scavengers Reign, Our Flag Means Death, and The Last of Us, Max is the only place to stream documentaries like David Holmes: The Boy Who Lived. Through Nov. 27, Max is offering six months of its ad-supported plan for just $2.99 per month, which is more than enough time to catch up on your essential viewing before the monthly price returns to its usual cost of $9.99.
Finally, Paramount Plus is discounting its ad-supported plan to just $1.99 per month for the first three months (was $5.99) through Dec. 3. We highly suggest checking out Colin from Accounts, if you want to see an original and charming rom com.
If you still need to catch up on Yellowjackets, you can get the first three months of the ad-free version of Paramount Plus bundled with Showtime for just $3.99 per month (was $11.99). In addition to serving as the official home for all things Star Trek, Paramount Plus is currently the only place to stream original programming like Evil, Frasier, and the reimagined Twilight Zone.
While getting rid of ads is the most obvious advantage of signing up for the Showtime bundle, the premium plan also allows you to download content to your mobile device for offline viewing, and access Showtime exclusives like Yellowjackets and Billions.
Peacock is also offering an exceptional deal on its monthly and annual ad-supported plans for Black Friday. Normally $5.99 a month, you can subscribe to Peacock for just $1.99 a month for up to 12 months when you use the code BIGDEAL at checkout. However, if you’d like to sign up for a whole year, you can get an annual ad-supported plan for $19.99 (was $59.99) if you use the code YEARLONG at checkout. Both promotions are valid through Nov. 27 and can be upgraded to the ad-free Plus plan for an additional $5.99 per month or $59.99 a year. While old episodes of The Office were originally the biggest selling point of this streaming service, Peacock is now home to a substantial library of original programming like Natasha Lyonne’s murder-mystery vehicle Poker Face, and the surprisingly good Twisted Metal.
