How to report an outage to your local power company | News

TRI-CITIES, Wash.-With several winter storms bringing snow and high winds to the area this week power outages are a possibility, with several already reported over the past week.

Here’s how to report an outage, check an outage map and contact your local utility provider in the event of an outage around the region.


Benton PUD: Main office: 888-582-2176. Online outage center available to report outages, an outage map is also available. Outages can also be reported through SmartHub.

Benton REA: Online outage center features an outage map and can be used to report outages. Outages can also be reported by calling 509-786-1626.

Franklin PUD: An outage map is available online and outages can be reported by calling 509-542-5300.

Pacific Power: Outages can be reported by texting OUT to 722797 or by calling 877-508-5088. An outage map is available online and customer service can be contacted at 888-225-2611.

Columbia REA: Online outage center can be used to report outages and view outage areas. Customers can also call 509-526-4041 to report an outage. Callers should have their account number ready when calling.
