John Krasinski’s new title as People’s Sexiest Man Alive is going to cost him.
The 45-year-old joked that while his wife Emily Blunt was “very excited” by the news, she isn’t going to ease up on him. In fact, quite the opposite.
“I think it’s going to make me do more household chores,” The Office star told People in his cover story. “After this comes out, she’ll be like, ‘All right, that means you’re going to really earn it here at home.’”
However, the Mary Poppins Returns star, who shares daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, with Krasinski also insisted on a home décor refresh, joking she planned to wallpaper the house with his sexy new cover.
“Do we have that on camera? Because that’s like a binding contract, I think,” Krasinski quipped. “My children will love that, it won’t be weird at all.”
The Quiet Place director and star noted that “there was a lot of joy” in him sharing the news with his wife of 14 years.
