Simone has grown especially close to Damon in recent episodes, the pair kissing and later sleeping together following the death of his father. However, the tennis player also has some worry surrounding what romance might mean for their friendship, worried it will do more harm for them than good. While she also has a relationship with Lando, the seriousness of it is still in question, leading to the two young men fighting for her love. Season 2 ended with her seemingly making a choice, but the resolution has been left up in the air.

With Damon’s role in All American: Homecoming season 3 getting reduced, it seemed clear that Lando was going to end up winning over the protagonist’s heart.
