Have Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright Split? Fans Suspect So

Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright are facing rumors of a potential split.

Following the sharing of a post on Reddit that suggested that the two of them were living separately, fans of the Vanderpump Rules alums, who are set to star in Bravo’s latest spinoff, The Valley, are wondering if Jax, 44, and Brittany, 35, have called it quits on their four-year marriage.

“What’s everyone’s thoughts on this?! It’s been [some time] now that we’ve noticed them not living together (Since Jax went on that bender with the Toms). Brittany’s been living in a random house, and they no longer post together,” the Reddit user alleged. “I think at first it was thought that this was a ploy to get people to watch their new Valley show. But I’m not so convinced.”

“Is it possible that they’ve actually broken up for real, and it won’t be a good look for the new show since they’re the ‘glue that keeps the group together?’” they wondered.

While many Reddit users wondered where the rumor came from, others noted that Jax and Brittany have seemingly been in different houses in posts shared on their social media accounts.

“It’s [because] Brittany’s posts are all in a different house and excluding any mention of Jax,” someone explained.

“So are they faking being together for their podcast too?” another asked.

Meanwhile, a third said a split between Jax and Brittany was “inevitable.”

“No way!!” someone else argued. “If she didn’t leave him for the voice recordings and sleeping with [Faith Stowers] at a 90 years old lady’s home she won’t ever leave him.”

Although Jax and Brittany may be living separately, they are still co-hosting their podcast. And, during a recent episode of the show, they teased the upcoming debut of The Valley.

“[We] have lots of drama,” Brittany teased on the February 15 episode of When Reality Hits With Jax and Brittany, via Us Weekly. “The Valley is going to be filled with drama. [Kristen Doute] just goes crazy.”

According to Jax, he was initially concerned about the drama of the series.

“When I started this show, [I said], ‘It’s going to be a little less drama,’” he admitted. “[But] I almost think it is more drama than there was on Vanderpump. It’s almost like we didn’t skip a beat.”

Even after filming wrapped, Jax said the drama continued.

“I can’t believe the cameras aren’t still going to be honest. There’s a lot going on,” he noted.

Then, after Brittany suspected their reunion would be “crazy,” Jax said they may need security.

“They are probably going to have to have some security there [at the reunion taping],” Jax said.

Executive producer Alex Baskin also weighed in on claims of a lack of drama, saying on Scheananigans, “I think it is really strong. I would be concerned if we didn’t capture a lot when we were shooting it. But we have a ton of stories. We were able to do more episodes than we initially had ordered. For a first-season show? That’s remarkable.”

Vanderpump Rules season 11 airs Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo, and The Valley season one is expected to premiere sometime this spring, also on Bravo.
