All three parts of the Real Housewives of Miami reunion have aired, and the dust is still settling. However, one thing people can’t get over is the audacity of Marcus Jordan to make disparaging comments about the RHOM cast backstage at the reunion. Now, Guerdy Abraira is speaking out and saying he needs to apologize for being so rude.
Fans will recall that word got out after filming that Marcus was rude at the reunion. What exactly happened wasn’t clear, but it seemed bad. As it turns out, he made the comments to Andy backstage because he was upset about the cast mentioning his dad’s name.
According to Page Six, Guerdy said in a recent interview that she feels he owes the cast an apology for what he said. In discussing the matter, Guerdy said, “It was not a nice thing to say, obviously, and I think an apology would be in order in the future.”
Regarding Marcus’ comments, he said, “These women wouldn’t even be able to do the dishes in our house, let alone try to bring themselves into this conversation. Some people need to just stay in their lane.”
Guerdy went on to say, “If the benchmark for us to even step into his house is to do the dishes, that says a lot. So it’s kind of like, ‘You’re not good enough to even do the dishes.’ Listen, my mother was a nurse, and my father drove taxis. I’m proud of the blue-collar [workforce].”
She continues, “Kudos to the people who work hard every single day and work for their money, and that’s all I’m going to say about that. [Marcus is] a lucky person that he had a nice lifestyle from birth.”
However, Guerdy is also willing to give Marcus a bit of Grace. For her, she understands that he may not have meant what he said.
“Listen, people say things that they may not mean when they’re heated. People may say some things that they don’t mean when they’re a little tipsy. So, backstage obviously, they were chilling, they were hanging out, they were drinking Larsa’s uh, you know, what is it … tequila.”
She went on, “So maybe he was just a little loose and had a loose-lip moment. I’m going to give him the benefit of the doubt, which I ask people to give me, just in case I’m reading it wrong.”
Of course, Guerdy isn’t the only RHOM cast member to speak out. Julia also had words for Marcus, but she was much less forgiving.
In more Guerdy news, the Bravo star also shared a photo on Instagram showing off her stomach and ‘battle scars’ following her hysterectomy as she remains in remission after battling breast cancer.
