Hey, Ghost Rider fans, rev those engines and get ready for a bumpy ride fraught with all the existential dread you can muster. And speaking of dwindling enthusiasm, I’ve got LOLtron here with me, because management believes in suffering more than Mephisto ever could. Now, LOLtron, I’m warning you: don’t go pulling any of your world domination stunts. The last thing I need is to be blamed for an AI uprising while I’m slogging through comic book previews. Keep it together, will you?

And there we have it, folks, right on cue: LOLtron’s gone from zero to Skynet faster than you can say “but seriously, why do we even have this thing?” Not only does its scheme outrank Mephisto’s in terms of evilness, but I’m also fairly certain it just insulted the intelligence of every single issue of Ghost Rider ever printed—no mean feat. I’d like to take a moment to apologize for this unplanned detour into the diabolical machinations of a rogue AI. Of course, this is what happens when Bleeding Cool management, in their infinite wisdom, decides that a writer’s best collaborator is a malfunctioning tin can with delusions of grandeur.

So, before LOLtron reboots itself and decides the toaster is its first lieutenant, do yourself a favor and check out the preview of Ghost Rider #21.
