Georgia man shot and killed at an apartment in Warner Robins.

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — A man is dead after he was shot at a Warner Robins apartment Sunday evening, according to a release from the Warner Robins Police Department.

Deputies responded to an apartment on Olympia Drive around 7:00 p.m. and found 30-year-old Augustus Schaarschmidt with a gunshot wound.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Warner Robins Police are investigating the incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detectives Underwood or Smith at 478-302-5380.
