The National Weather Service issued a burn warning on Wednesday, Feb. 26 for nearly 100 counties throughout Georgia.
Relative humidities of 25% or less can be expected for four or more hours Wednesday afternoon and evening, with winds coming from NNW at 5 to 10 miles per hour.
With dry fuels, high fire danger conditions can be expected. If you do burn outside, the NWS urges you refer to your local burn permitting authorities and exercise extreme caution.
The alert says high fire danger conditions can be expected for the following counties in our viewing area:

- Whitfield
- Murray
