All lanes of I-75 South in Perry are closed after a crash, according to Capt. Heath Dykes with the Perry Police Department.

According to the Georgia Department of Transportation’s 511 website, the closure started at around 8 p.m. and, as of now, they don’t expect the crash to be resolved until at least 11:45 p.m.

Those times, however, can change.

It happened near Exit 136 to Sam Nunn Boulevard, according to 511.

Dykes says that the crash has closed all three lanes heading in the southbound direction. He says that the Georgia State Patrol is currently on the scene and heading the investigation.

The Houston County Sheriff’s Office declined to comment because the investigation is ongoing.

This is a developing story. We will continue to provide updates as they become available.
