Some of our favorite Bravo stars have been in the news recently for alleged terrible actions. One such example is Gary King from Below Deck Sailing Yacht. As fans will recall, Rolling Stone recently did an exposé that included some unsavory details about his behavior while filming season four of the reality show. Now, it seems Gary wants to make a comeback to our TV screens and is denying any wrongdoing.

According to the exposé, Samantha Suarez, who worked on the production, became a victim of sexual misconduct after being told to look after Gary because he had gotten too drunk. However, upon trying to leave, he pressed his body onto her and would not allow her to leave the room until she started to fight back. She alerted producers, and they told Gary to sleep on the boat instead of coming back to the hotel when they were not filming.

Now, according to US Weekly, Gary has been posting online that he wants to come back to reality TV. One fan replied to a recent Instagram picture of the disgraced reality star and said, “There’ s a life after Below deck for you. The same vibe but undercover, and it’s all good 😉.”

Gary then replied and said, “I hope so, will have to see, but will definitely be trying to stay on people’s TV screens ☺️.”

He also had this to say in a separate comment, “I will do and hopefully be back on your screens, every day I’m trying to better myself, so hopefully if they ask me back, you’ll see this.”

It’s important to note that Samantha isn’t the only person in the exposé accusing Gary of sexual misconduct. She just happens to be the only person named.

One unnamed accuser had this to say, “It was insane. There were multiple incidents of sexual harassment in front of multiple producers after this person had been given verbal warnings multiple times. I had to promote and make this guy who just assaulted someone look awesome. That was my job, to make this person look cool, capable, and exciting.”

Bravo issued the following statement after the Rolling Stone exposé:

Bravo is committed to maintaining a safe and respectful workplace for cast and crew on our reality shows. We require our third-party production companies to have appropriate workplace policies and trainings in place and a clear process on how to report concerns. The concerns Ms. Suarez raised in July 2022 were investigated at that time and action was taken based on the findings.

51 Minds, which is the production company behind Below Deck Sailing Yacht, also issued a statement:

51 Minds is committed to providing an environment in which every member of the casts and crews on our productions feel respected and, most importantly, safe. 51 Minds provides mandatory harassment and sensitivity training for every series it produces at the outset of each new season and lays out a clear process on how and to whom to report any questionable activity,” a spokesperson said. “With any complaint filed, a timely investigation is launched and, based on the findings, appropriate actions are implemented to ensure the safety of our cast and crew, up to and including termination. With regard to the incident reported by Ms. Suarez involving Mr. King, the case was investigated and reviewed as soon as it was submitted, and production acted accordingly based on the results.

Of course, Gary has denied the whole thing by saying, “I know [that I did nothing wrong], and I know the truth, but it still hurts when people will tell lies to bring you down.” Gary has previously said that he feels like a ‘target.’

Despite being previously announced, Gary was absent from BravoCon. However, it is worth noting that two of Gary’s co-stars, Captain Glenn and Ileisha, have shown him support.
