Fox is developing a new animated comedy series titled Zoo P.D., spearheaded by the executive producer of Family Guy, Alex Carter. With a script commitment ordered, the show promises to deliver a wild ride through the precinct of the eighth-best zoo in California.
Zoo P.D. follows the police force “stationed inside the eighth best zoo in California. In their attempts to handle the unruly customers and improve the park, the show hits upon a hard truth: at the end of the day, we’re all just animals.”
Kapital Entertainment and Fox’s Bento Box Entertainment are co-producing the series, which is Kapital’s second animated comedy series at Fox following HouseBroken, which enjoyed a two-season run.
Hopefully, this ends up being a funny show.
