The director of Godzilla Minus One, Takashi Yamazaki, has released a new Kaiju short film that he directed titled Foodlosslla!
The short was made as an advertisement that calls attention to the horrors of food waste. The creature in the film, Foodlosslla, is a “literal representation of “the grief of 2.4 million tons of annual household food waste.” He’s also the official spokes-monster for Japanese food and biotechnology corporation Ajinomoto.
So, while the Godzilla franchise deals with war, atomic bombs, and nuclear fallout, Foodlosslla, deals with how much food is wanted in society. Watch the short film below and tell us what your think!
