Konami launched a new structure deck for the Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game earlier this month and it’s a pretty incredible one. Structure Deck: Fire Kings brings some new cards for the Fire King archetype including Sacred Fire King Garunix, Garunix Eternity, Hyang of the Fire Kings, and Legendary Fire King Ponix. Duelists are genuinely enjoying this deck and it could be the latest entry of structure decks where three copies can give you a semi-competitive deck. Heck, Kevin Nephthys Semlali made it to Top 16 at YCS Bologna with Fire Kings with many of the cards available in this structure deck.
What really takes Fire Kings to the next level though are some of the reprints. Infinite Impermanence is incredible and Solemn Judgment is good in a pinch. Then, you add Droll & Lock Bird and Alpha, the Master of Beasts which really add value to the structure deck. Overall, I think this is a great structure deck to create a budget first deck if you’re getting into Yu-Gi-Oh!, or getting back into it. Buy three of them and then as your budget grows you can build the deck up more.
