Fanhome announces STAR TREK Die Cast Collection

For Star Trek fans looking to fill the void left by Eaglemoss, the long road from there to here may finally be reaching its destination. Fanhome has announced a Star Trek Die Cast Collection, along with the first three ships to be featured. Here’s what we know so far.

The Fanhome Star Trek Die Cast Collection

Fanhome promises the Star Trek Die Cast Collection will feature new die-cast starships, ranging in size from 7 to 10 inches. Each ship is packaged with a display base and arrives in a “collector’s box.” Plus each will come with a 16-page magazine with in-universe information about the ship, along with “exclusive art and brand-new interviews with the production team.”

The three ships that have been announced so far:

    • The USS Titan-A, as seen in Star Trek: Picard season 3
    • The USS Stargazer, as seen in Picard season 2

 

    • The USS Farragut, as seen in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds season 1

Furthermore, it will feature ships from all of the modern era Star Trek shows. This will include not just Picard and Strange New Worlds, but also Star Trek: DiscoveryStar Trek: Lower Decks and Star Trek: Prodigy.

According to the press release, the collection will be supervised by Ben Robinson. In addition to die-cast metal, the ships will also be constructed with “high-quality resin.” And in order to achieve an accurate model, Fanhome worked directly with CBS to utilize the original visual effects models for the ships in question.

Scheduled for Arrival in Final Quarter 2024
