Fabolous has wasted no time accepting Drake’s open challenge to spit over his Scary Hour 3 beats.
On Saturday (November 25), just a day after Drizzy dropped the instrumentals from his latest EP, the Brooklyn MC took to social media in the wee hours of the morning to fire off a quick freestyle.
“New truck but I been driven/ Pull up and turn your Friendsgiving to a Benzgiving/ Told my bitch what is givings, what has been given/ I gotta move in where we been livin’/ That Brooklyn boy ain’t gon’ play with them boys, that’s word to Ben Simmons,” he raps over “Evil Ways.”
The “new truck” he was referring to is the Mercedes-Benz G 500 4×4² (a.k.a. the “G-Class Squared”) he received for his 46th birthday earlier this week — a video of which he posted on Instagram.

Drake’s Scary Hours 3 instrumentals dropped on Thanksgiving Day (November 23), but with a twist. In addition to making them available on streaming platforms, the 6 God made fans navigate various “rooms” in his Toronto mansion on his website drakerelated.com to download each track.
Prior to its release, Drizzy issued a challenge to his rap peers to bring their best bars over the beats, which were produced by The Alchemist, Conductor Williams, Ovrkast and more.
“Dropping the instrumentals this week I wanna hear who’s barring up,” he wrote on his Instagram Stories next to a graphic of the twin fairies that appear on his Scary Hours 3 cover.
While announcing Scary Hours 3 earlier this month, Drake detailed his thought process behind the project, all of which was recorded in the weeks following the October release of his eighth studio album, For All The Dogs.
“I feel no need to appease anybody,” he said. “I feel so confident about the body of work that I just dropped that I know I could go disappear for, whatever, six months, a year, two years—even though I’m not really, like, into the super lengthy disappearances for the sake of mystery.
“But, you know, ultimately, it’s coming to me in a way that I haven’t experienced maybe since, like, If You’re Reading This, where it’s just kind of like I feel like I’m on drugs. I feel like I’m in that mental state without doing anything.”
He continued: “I did those songs in the last five days. I didn’t have one bar written down for those songs on the night that For All The Dogs dropped. It’s not like I’m picking up from some unfinished shit, you know? This is just, it’s happening on its own. And, you know, who am I to fight it, right?”
