The Erie Zoo was in a position to welcome households to hop into spring with a wide range of Easter actions on April 16.
These in attendance had been in a position to rejoice each spring and Easter by taking part in an Easter egg hunt, I-Spy, and take photographs with the Easter bunny.
Kids who participated within the Easter egg hunt within the youngsters’s zoo obtained prizes from Burger King and Romolo’s Sweets upon turning of their eggs.
Households had been in a position to take part in I-Spy Easter egg hunt in hopes of handing over eggs they discovered across the zoo so as to win a large Easter Egg basket.
“We’re simply actually excited to have the egg hunt once more, and have everybody again on the grounds, have some sense of normalcy. As that goes on from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. as we speak it’s been a beautiful turnout. The rain shouldn’t be holding anyone again,” stated Emily Smicker, Advertising and marketing and Occasions Coordinator for Erie Zoo.
Though the rain cooperated, Smicker stated that the Easter festivities would have continued rain, shine or snow.
