Ally McBeal herself and select members of the late ’90s legal series’ cast reunited onstage at the event, in a recreation of Ally McBeal‘s iconic bathroom set.
Calista Flockhart began the skit by washing her hands in the all-gender bathroom – which was ahead of its time – and checking herself out in the mirror.
Then, Greg Germann, Peter MacNicol and Gill Bellows came in to dance with Flockhart.
“I loved working with Peter, Gil and Greg — and I still do,” Flockhart said onstage.
“The entire Ally McBeal cast was so talented, magical, and the show, created by the brilliant 11-time Emmy winner David E. Kelley, was groundbreaking, revolutionary, introducing us to a dancing baby and unisex bathrooms. Ally McBeal defied convention with humor and humanity.”
One key member, however, was missing… Jane Krakowski was nowhere in sight.
