Ed Sheeran’s old phone Instagram account includes iconic throwback images of Taylor Swift, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and more | In pictures

Today, Ed Sheeran has given fans more than we ever could have asked for.

The singer created a new Instagram account, @teddysoldphone, sharing some iconic throwback pics from the last 15 years in honour of his new song Old Phone.

“It felt like a time capsule,” Sheeran shared of digging up his old device.

”Turning it on really spun me out, I found myself scrolling messages and conversations with people who are no longer here.

“I found myself crying at messages to friends who are now dead, who I won’t get to speak to again.

“I found old photos of me with people I was so close to then, but we’ve lost touch since. The whole experience was such an emotional journey.”

Pictured here is Sheeran at his first ever gig; he joked in the caption, ”no wonder i play a small guitar now.”

With more than 200 photos currently shared to the account, there’s plenty to dissect.
