Dynamite announces POWERPUFF GIRLS: WINTER SHOWDOWN SNOWDOWN!

Dynamite announces that The Powerpuff Girls will need their fans’ help for their Winter Snowdown Showdown this December! Written by author Daniel Kibblesmith (Harley Quinn, Black Panther vs. Deadpool) and artist Carlo Cid Lauro are bringing this huge gift to their reader.

Dynamite states

It’s the holiday season in the city of Townsville, which means lots of fun. Citizens are ice skating, baking cookies, and shopping for their loved ones. Which is exactly what Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup are up to, as the fan-favorite, pint-sized protectors are in search of the perfect present for Professor Utonium. But what does one get for the man who has (or can make) everything?

As they set off to find out what to get him, the girls are going to learn some important lessons about being fair, not crossing boundaries, and taking others in to consideration. All while dispensing some big doses of holiday justice!

Kibblesmith says

The Powerpuff Girls isn’t just one of my favorite shows all time, its one of the best ideas in the history of fiction.

I also loudly love the holidays and joking about the holidays (people have noticed and give me holiday assignments) so any fans of classic Powerpuff Girls comedy and action, kids and their parents, and any sentiments animated Christmas special overs need to check this out!

Kibblesmith is a five-time Emmy Award nominee and has given fans some amazing works with his contributions to some of their favorite franchises. He’s joined by Lauro, who charged into readers’ hearts with the latest revival of Darkwing Duck. The pair are joined by Cat Staggs and Francesco Tomaselli, who contributed covers for this special release alongside Lauro’s own.

Ahead of its release check out these new covers!
