Dominik Mysterio Addresses Accusations of Fake WWE Crowd Reactions

WWE Superstar Dominik Mysterio has taken center stage in the wrestling world, not just for his in-ring skills but for his remarkable transition from beloved babyface to formidable heel. Joining The Judgment Day faction after betraying his father, Rey Mysterio, he marked a turning point in his career.

Since embracing his villainous persona, Dominik Mysterio has become a lightning rod for fan animosity, drawing loud boos whenever he steps into the spotlight during promos. This evolution has breathed new life into his career, captivating the WWE Universe’s attention. However, suspicions arose about WWE possibly enhancing crowd reactions with piped-in boos when Dominik takes the mic. He recently shared his thoughts on the speculations.

In a recent interview on K100 with Konnan, Dominik Mysterio addressed speculations regarding the authenticity of WWE crowd reactions. He stated, “They like it when I do that, when I go out and try to cut a promo, especially if they need to cut time out of something or they need to save time, I can go out there with a mic for two to three minutes, pretend to cut a promo. I’m still blessed to get booed. I can’t tell you, every city I go out to, it gets louder and louder.”

Furthermore, when questioned about the piped-in noise, Dominik adamantly asserted that the audience’s reactions are genuine. He said, “No, it’s not piped.” This Dominik Mysterio’s candid clarification dismisses the suspicion surrounding WWE’s crowd reactions.

Dominik Mysterio was scheduled to face Brock Lesnar at WWE Elimination Chamber

WWE originally intended for Brock Lesnar to participate in the men’s Royal Rumble match. However, his alleged involvement in the Vince McMahon allegations led to him not appearing on the show. It was previously reported that Lesnar would also miss a planned match at Elimination Chamber.

At the Royal Rumble, Bron Breakker replaced Lesnar, and Dominik Mysterio eliminated him. This indicated Mysterio’s initial role in the plans, suggesting a potential feud between him and Lesnar. Consequently, this would have resulted in a match between Mysterio and Lesnar at Elimination Chamber in Australia. However, WWE has since scrapped that creative plan. It will be interesting to see if WWE has any plans for Dominik Mysterio this Saturday at Elimination Chamber.
