Digital Foundry is impressed with Mario vs Donkey Kong, runs at a flawless 60fps

The latest game the tech-focussed team at Digital Foundry have been examining in the recently released Mario vs Donkey Kong for the Nintendo Switch family of systems. They are pleased to report that the platforming puzzler is 1080p docked and 720p handheld and that it runs at a flawless 60fps. Mario vs Donkey Kong also uses AMD’s FidelityFX, though Digital Foundry believes that it is only using the contrast adaptive sharpening (CAS) mode rather than FSR 1 upscaling. They close by saying that “Mario vs Donkey Kong is undoubtedly a successful remake that manages to capture the magic of the original and bring it to the modern era.”
