You may recall that, last month, Nintendo has cancelled their Nintendo Live 2024 Tokyo event due to threats made against the staff. The event was originally scheduled to take place on January 20th and 21st of 2024, and resulted in the Splatoon 3 World Championship 2024, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Online Challenge Final Stage and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe World Championship 2024 being postponed.
The event was also going to feature a concert by Splatoon 3’s Deep Cut, which had also been postponed. However, the official Splatoon North American Twitter account has confirmed that “the show must go on” and the concert will now be held on February 10th. It will also be posted on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel for fans to watch at home. The announcement tweet is down below.
