DDG is facing serious allegations from his former girlfriend, singer Halle Bailey, who has reportedly accused him of abuse and filed a restraining order against him today.
Halle Bailey Files Restraining Order Against DDG After Alleged Attack
On Tuesday evening (May 13), TMZ reported that Halle Bailey filing a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend DDG, with whom she shares a son, following him allegedly attacking her this past January. Apparently a police report was filed today regarding the incident.
The singer claims DDG came over to her home at the time to pick up their son, Halo, and an argument ensued over a child visitation schedule. DDG is accused of getting upset over the conversation as Halle was buckling Halo, 1, into a car seat and telling her, “Get out my car, bi*ch.”
Halle claims DDG pulled her hair, slammed her face on the car steering wheel and chipped her tooth as they fought. In pain and tears, she allegedly stayed in the car with Halo and DDG as the latter drove them to his home, where Halle informed DDG’s family of the incident.
Photos obtained from the request for a restraining order show the singer’s chipped tooth and a bruise on her right arm from the alleged attack.
In March, she also claims DDG came to her home and became angry after she told him that she and Halo were sick and she didn’t want their baby leaving with him. DDG reportedly became verbally abusive, smashed her Ring camera and stole Halle’s phone. He allegedly threw her phone out his car window and yelled, “Go get it, bi*ch.” Apparently, Halle has footage of this incident, which prompted her to file a police report.
XXL has reached out to DDG’s team for comment as well as the LAPD.
