Soap star Casey Deidrick has been arrested.
The 37-year-old was taken into police custody on Sunday in Davidson County, Tennessee, according to Davidson County Sheriff’s Office records. TMZ reported his arrest came as the result of a domestic violence incident with his girlfriend, who was not named. Oof.
According to an arrest warrant obtained by the outlet, he was charged with domestic assault but also interference with an emergency call. Casey, who’s best known for his portrayal of Chad DiMera on Days of Our Lives, allegedly attempted to snatch his girlfriend’s phone away during a heated argument. He believed she was secretly recording him. Per the arrest warrant, Casey claimed his GF wrapped her hands around his neck, but police did not find evidence of such a claim.

Casey’s girlfriend denied recording him and claimed she recoiled into a corner of the kitchen before he came up behind her and ripped her phone away. That’s when she allegedly demanded he return the device so she could call 911, which he finally agreed to — after she promised to move out of their Nashville home that same day.
Yeesh.
The actor was released from jail at around 3:30 a.m. on Monday after posting a $2,500 bond. See his mugshot (below):
