Day Zero Blows Away All Expectations With Magical 2024 Festival in Tulum

In a show-stopping blend of fiery dance music and the hypnotizing sounds of nature, Day Zero’s 11th festival unfolded in Tulum on January 12th—and blew away all expectations.

Curated by Damian Lazarus in the lush Tulum jungle, the festival showcased a stellar lineup featuring sets by some of techno and house music’s very best, among them Patrick Mason, Seth Troxler, Skream and WhoMadeWho. They soundtracked many unforgettable moments in this year’s edition of the ineffable Day Zero.

Adding to the immersive jungle scenery and the event’s organic house sounds, ancient Mayan rituals and mind-bending performances were taking place all throughout the night.

Meanwhile, Day Zero once again reinforced its commitment to preservation and sustainability by partnering with Mexican company Petgas to convert all waste from production into fuel to power the event.

Due to Black Coffee’s unavailability following an injury from a “severe travel accident,” the duo of Damian Lazarus and Acid Pauli stepped in to drop a remarkable B2B set that brought the festival to an epic conclusion. The unexpected collaboration turned out to be a big moment, elevating the energy and leaving an indelible mark on the attendees.

Day Zero 2024 not only lived up to its reputation as one of Tulum’s most celebrated festivals, but also exceeded expectations with its unexpected twists and moments of pure magic. 2025 can’t come soon enough.
