Craig Conover “Wouldn’t Freak Out’ If He and Paige Broke Up

Craig Conover and Paige Desorbo are two of Bravo’s biggest names. He stars in Southern Charm while she is one of the most recognizable faces on Summer House.

The pair have been dating since 2021, and there have been subtle talks of marriage for quite some time. However, Craig ruffled some feathers with comments made in a recent episode of Southern Charm. Additionally, he’s sharing an update regarding his mental health.

Craig, 34, and Paige, 31, are both busy people. She mostly works out of New York while he resides in South Carolina. However, they each find time to visit each other. In fact, they even make appearances on one another’s shows.

Unfortunately, Craig recently made some seemingly controversial statements to Paige on an episode of Southern Charm. While in a conversation with her, Craig said, “I’ve asked you about serious things before and you’ve communicated to me that you’re not in a hurry. And it’s not the end of the world if we don’t end up together.”

Of course, Paige was shocked to hear this, and her expression showed it. Luckily, he explained a bit further.

He continued, “What I mean is like now I actually believe that I’ve become a stable person with or without you. I know that you got me there, but I really feel stable in myself to the point where, like, I could let you go. I would be really sad, but I wouldn’t freak out if that makes sense.”

He then asked, “But, like, do you hope it works out with me?”

Paige responded by saying, “Yes! I wouldn’t be here. I would be in New York.”

Paige recently discussed the idea of relocation in an interview with The Post in May.

“If the roles were reversed and Craig, as a 30-year-old man, said he wanted to focus on his career and wait to get married, everyone would praise him and tell him he has a good head on his shoulders,” Paige said. “But when it comes to me saying it, people assume things: ‘Oh, you don’t love your boyfriend.’ This could not be further from the truth.”

She also discussed the idea in a past episode of Summer House. She said, “I would be changing my whole life. I have no friends in Charleston. My whole career is here.”

In other news, Craig recently opened up on Instagram about his mental health. He said in an Instagram Story, “Getting vertical today was very difficult.”

He continued, “I just wanted to pop in and share part of my story, a little bit. But, I didn’t know it until years ago, but I sometimes go through little bouts of depression. But I’ve learned how to fight them, and this morning was really tough going from horizontal to vertical, and that’s all it really takes for me. I’m luckier than most.”

He also went on to talk about how going to the gym helps with his mental health. He concluded by saying, “Anyway, I’m just saying that sometimes it’s really hard. I hit the snooze button for like an hour and 15 minutes [and] really put it off, but I finally got up, I went to the gym, and now I’m getting my stuff done.”
