Court Dismisses Monica Garcia’s Lawsuit Against Heather Gay

A court dismissed Monica Garcia’s shocking lawsuit against Heather Gay. Meanwhile, Monica addressed fan “hate,” and she admitted she “infiltrated” the group of “elitists” on Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.

Heather first sued Monica for not paying her bill at Heather’s Beauty Lab med-spa. Monica then countersued, claiming she got botched injections.

However, according to legal documents obtained by U.S. Sun, a judge in Utah dismissed Monica’s countersuit.

The reason? Monica’s claim is “time barred by the statute of limitations,” and she “failed to obtain a certificate of compliance from the Division of Professional Licensing.” The docs said a hearing over the motion wouldn’t be helpful because “the law is clear and straightforward in this matter.”

But the lawsuit against Monica – from Heather’s med-spa – is still in action.

Before the suit was dismissed, Monica had depositions with a couple of aestheticians who allegedly fixed the “botched” injections from Beauty Lab.

Last week, Monica filed a Motion for Protective Order to keep certain information private. She claims the following info is unrelated to the case and therefore shouldn’t be disclosed: her health care providers, Medicare health insurance info, employers for the last five years before she received the services, investigative reports, copies of statements and bills, etc.

According to Monica, she filed the motion because a healthcare provider never treated her to fix the “defective cosmetic lip plumping procedure,” no investigative reports exist, and she doesn’t allege she lost any wages.

A judge hasn’t ruled on Monica’s motion.

Meanwhile, she reacted to fan backlash on Instagram.

“Hate that I’m a troll, broke, poor, single, divorced, cheated, excommunicated, hate that I’m childish, loud, was an assistant,” Monica wrote on her Instagram Stories, mirroring a famous quote from Kobe Bryant, via @bravosnarkside on Instagram. “Hate that I was a fan, played the game, got on the show, ran a snark page, went to the FBI, hate that I infiltrated a group of elitists.”

“Hate it with all of your heart and hate that I’m loved for the exact same reasons,” she said, ending her post.

Some fans continued to be bothered by Monica’s secret account while others were thrilled by it. But if producers bow down to those calling for her firing, RHOSLC will return to the boring storylines of season three as fast as you can say vanilla.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season four reunion, part three, airs Tuesday, January 23, at 8/7c on Bravo.
