The 2023 Billboard Music Awards honor the biggest names in music, so it’s no surprise that Taylor Swift leads the nominations this year.
The awards ceremony, which will stream on Sunday, November 19, at BBMAs.watch, doles out trophies based on year-end performance metrics on the Billboard chart.
Swift, 33, is the most decorated female BBMAs artist of all time with 29 wins, and she also has the most nominations this year. She is a finalist in 20 of the 69 categories, including Top Artist, Top Hot 100 Songwriter, Top Billboard 200 Album (for Midnights) and Top Billboard Global 200 Song (“Anti-Hero”).
Morgan Wallen and SZA each have 17 nominations in 16 categories. Wallen’s tracks “Last Night” and “You Proof” are nominated against each other for Top Country Song. The same goes for SZA, 34, whose singles “Kill Bill” and “Snooze” are both up for Top R&B Song.
Swift, SZA and Wallen are all nominated for Top Artist along with Drake and Luke Combs.
