Bonnaroo fans may have to consider taking out a second mortgage on their tents.
Bonnaroo yesterday released a statement on social media announcing a “notable base price increase” for tickets to the 2024 festival, which is scheduled for June 13-16 in Manchester, Tennessee. Citing inflation, they said it’s the first time they’ve increased prices in a decade.
“This increase will still be far lass than inflation over that time,” the statement reads. “The cost of producing this magical world has increased and our goal is to be as transparent with you as possible. To continue to deliver the quality experience you have come to love and appreciate, prices need to go up just slightly.”
The new Bonnaroo ticket prices also include all fees upfront, except for the additions of the buyer’s preferred shipping method and local sales tax. That move is likely the upshot of the White House’s recent crackdown on junk ticketing fees, which impacted Ticketmaster and other major companies.
Organizers are also no longer selling single-day tickets, which means those who want to head to the farm will need to buy a pass for the full weekend. General admission starts at $355, general admission-plus starts at $695, VIP starts at $900 and Platinum starts at $4,155.
