Ben Stiller and his wife Christine Taylor made a rare appearance on the red carpet of the off-Broadway debut of Danny and the Deep Blue Sea.
The couple first met in 1999 filming a pilot for Heat Vision and Jack, a TV show that never made it to air.
Following a six-month engagement, the duo were married in Hawaii in May of 2000.
The couple’s marriage remained strong for 17 years before they split in 2017.
In a joint statement to People, the couple said: ”With tremendous love and respect for each other, and the 18 years we spent together as a couple, we have made the decision to separate. Our priority will continue to be raising our children as devoted parents and the closest of friends.”
However it wasn’t long before they were spotted together again in 2018, with Stiller confirming that they were back together in February 2022.
In an interview with Esquire, he revealed that the couple had reconciled while living together during Covid lockdown.
“I think we have respect for the ways that we’re similar and the ways we’re different,” he said.
“And I think accepting that, you can really appreciate someone more because you’re not trying to get them to change for you.”
