Considering Jay-Z and Blue Ivy Carter, 12, are father and daughter, it’s not breaking news that they’re lookalikes.
But at the 2024 Grammy Awards, the resemblance was simply striking when the duo appeared up on stage together as he accepted the Dr. Dre Global Impact Award.
In his speech, Jay-Z thanked Dre for “all the doors that you opened, showed us that we can be rock stars”.
He also mentioned his wife Beyoncé’s repeated Grammys snubs over the years.
”Forget the Grammys, you got to keep showing up until they give you all those accolades you feel you deserve,” he said.
“I don’t want to embarrass this young lady, but she has more Grammys than anyone and never won Album of the Year. Think about that. That doesn’t work.”
