The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City is one of the most talked-about shows on Bravo right now. Much of the love this season has been due to newbie Bronwyn Newport. Not only has she been unafraid to go up against the OGs on the show, but she has done a great job showing her personal life. Recently, she did an interview where she discussed the reunion, issues in her marriage, and more.

Of course, this season hasn’t been all sunshine and roses for Bronwyn. Her husband,  Todd Bradley,  has been featured on the show, but many fans have thrown shade at their relationship dynamics. Much of this has been over how he has spoken to her and the other ladies on the show.

Recently, Bronwyn did an interview with Us Weekly while on a red carpet. The first topic that comes up is the RHOSLC reunion, which was filmed recently.

According to Bronwyn, “I went into it wanting resolution. I felt like, it was my first season, watching myself back, there were lots of things I was unhappy with myself about or felt like I could work on. So I went in with that mindset and I think some other people did and some did not. So that’s always a recipe for disaster.”

The interviewer then asked if she made amends with anyone. Bronwyn responded, “I did, yes. Not everybody I wanted to, but with some. And I feel like that’s kind of how that goes, yeah.”

Regarding where she stands with Lisa Barlow, Bronwyn explained, “Lisa and I will probably not chat tonight. If I see her from afar, I wish her well. Merry Christmas, Baby Gorge. But maybe I’ll mail her that. I don’t know if we need to say it in person.”

The topic of Todd and how the public reacted to him on the show also came up. Specifically, the interviewer asked if he wished she hadn’t done the show. In discussing it, Bronwyn said, “Todd definitely doesn’t wish I didn’t do the show. I don’t think I realized as we were filming how uncomfortable he was on camera. So much of what’s good between Todd and I is really private between Todd and I.”

Bronwyn went on, “So I knew that wasn’t being necessarily filmed to be shown. I didn’t realize how harsh it looked or how kind of stabby my self-depreciating humor could be. So you live, and you see it, and you watch it back, and you learn.”

She then added, “So we both have made some changes. There is still more talk about my marriage to come in the upcoming episodes and that will be difficult to watch back. I really confided in the ladies about some old stuff that’s gone on between him and I. Maybe we weren’t in a place for me to confide in them quite yet. So that’s always on me. It’s definitely not about Todd.”

Bronwyn then says she’s happy with the life she has with Todd.

She was then asked about how they dealt with the online chatter about their marriage. She responded, “Yeah, it’s definitely hard. Nobody is immune to seeing what’s online about them. So I kind of have to sort it into what’s true and if I need to take that in and make changes and what maybe somebody doesn’t know about us or is a misunderstanding.”

She added, “At the end of the day, when I’m really upset about what I see online, it’s Todd who’s there for me. And I think that speaks so much about the fact that even if it’s about Todd and I, Todd’s the one who’s there to help me get through it.”

Bronwyn also said that Todd would support her if she returned for a second season of the hit Bravo show. The interviewer went on to ask her about Britani Bateman and where they stand. She also asked if Britani should get another season.

According to Bronwyn, “Uh, not my decision. If she comes back next season, and I never want to not be supporting another woman, if it’s good for her, then she should be there.”

She went on, “Uh, she isn’t my favorite. We don’t necessarily get along. I don’t know. I think we approached going on the show very differently, and I was very hard on her for the way she approached it, and I’ve apologized to her for that.

I don’t know if she wants to take that apology, but it was there.”

The topic of Britani throwing shade at Bronwyn on Instagram over the red outfit she wore also came up. Bronwyn said, “

She was definitely throwing shade. I would just say I wore the real one, and it kind of feels like she’s wearing me on TikTok at this point.”

She ended by saying, “Like I feel like she would skin me and wear me like a Cape if she could. I’m not a tick-tock star. If that’s what works for her, then I’m glad she has something.”

Fans can watch RHOSLC on Wednesday nights on Bravo.
