Bobbi Althoff and her podcast went viral last summer when she interviewed Drake, but it later seemed like a rift occurred after they unfollowed each other and the interview was removed from YouTube.
Talking to Keke Palmer on a new episode of her Baby, This Is Keke Palmer podcast published on Tuesday (January 30), the comedian denied there was ever an issue and even said they spoke as recently as a few weeks ago. It is to be noted, however, they still do not follow each other on Instagram.
“I guess we’ll never know,” she said when asked why Drake unfollowed her, before adding: “He’s a very nice person and he definitely clearly changed the trajectory of my whole career. Either him or Funny Marco, but both of them definitely changed my whole entire life. So it’s crazy. Without them, I was still gonna be posting with my 100k views.”

Bobbi explained to Cosmopolitan last August that she noticed Drake liking social media posts of her interview with comedian Funny Marco, which compelled her to shoot her shot and try to get Drizzy as a guest.
“I decided to just go for it and shoot my shot,” she said. “I DMed Drake and asked if he wanted to be on my podcast, and he said yes.
“He sent me his touring schedule, and I knew that I needed to make it happen fast, so my friend and I flew to Memphis two days after the original DM was sent to record the episode.”
Weeks later, however, eagle-eyed fans noticed that Drake and Bobbi Althoff were no longer following one another and that the interview had been removed from The Really Good Podcast page.
One fan speculated it had to do with Bobbi’s reaction to seeing Drake in concert following a clip she posted looking annoyed while everyone sang along to “SICKO MODE,” writing: “Bobbi acting weird at Drake’s concert is weird. You know light skin wasn’t going to take it well.”
Others believed that the apparent falling out was because Bobbi took shots at Drake’s close friend Lil Yachty for being “awkward” during their own interview.
Amid reports of a divorce from her husband that same month, rumors then flew that she’d slept with Drake — but she both denied the split as well as sleeping with the 6 God.
Yet another theory as to why their episode was removed arrived in September. TikTok user by the name of @PhotogSteve81 posted a clip that went viral where he claimed that Drizzy essentially controlled the fate of the episode through “corporate bullying.”
With the 6 God playing Tyga’s “Rack City” during the interview, @PhotogSteve81 theorized that he could have had Universal Music Group — who reportedly own the rights to the track — threaten to take all of the profits from the interview or have it taken down due to copyright law.
“Drake paid her travel to come to his location,” the TikToker began. “Negotiated where his team would produce, film and control mostly everything about the podcast.
“He then goes on to play Tyga’s ‘Rack City.’ He specifically leaves it playing and airs a very long clip in the episode which now appears to have been his leverage he planted in the beginning.”

He continued: “Drake’s team reached out to Universal Music Group which owns the rights to ‘Rack City’ and filed a copyright strike against Bobbi’s podcast. They filed it under the terms that YouTube has with Universal Music.
“This meant that all of the proceeds from the podcast would have to be turned over to Universal Music or Bobbi would be facing a very large lawsuit… Bobbi’s team, realizing they would not be able to monetize their biggest podcast in history, decided to pull the podcast.”
The episode still has not returned to YouTube, but Bobbi has since interviewed the likes of Mark Cuban, J Balvin, Offset and Shaq. She also just recently returned with a season two that features Michael Cera and The Office star Rainn Wilson thus far.
