Blake Lively just can’t catch a break.
It’s been a rough several months for the controversial actress, culminating in Justin Baldoni filing a $400 million lawsuit against her and husband Ryan Reynolds in January over the messy fallout of It Ends With Us. In it, he made several scathing accusations against The Shallows star, like how she allegedly told him to get a nose job. But mostly the suit is about her inventing all claims of sexual harassment — just to cover up the fact she was trying to bully him off the movie for her own selfish reasons!
Surprisingly, it seems public favor has REALLY turned on her as Justin makes his evidence public. But even worse for Blake? He isn’t the only one who’s chosen to speak up about his negative experiences with her. The latest comes from a woman who says the film star brought her to tears every day on a film set!

Earlier this month, Henry Golding took to Instagram to promote his and Blake’s Another Simple Favor — a sequel to 2018’s surprise hit A Simple Favor. Whew, you gotta acknowledge the dude’s bravery for attaching his name to Blake’s in a time like this… But we guess the movie’s gotta come out at some point, and work is work?
Anyway, fans’ eyes quickly turned to the comments, where one Barbara Szeman wished him well on the sequel… While acknowledging her own nightmare experience on the first installment. In a lengthy comment, she cryptically wrote:
“I worked with you on the first one. My experience with everyone was absolutely amazing, except for a certain someone who is the reason I quit being an AD. Guess who that person is…. I wish you all the best with this though!”
DAMN! This “certain someone” made her leave her whole career behind?! Things must have been BAD. She didn’t reveal behavior specifics — heck she didn’t even name the actress — but it didn’t take long for fans to point at Blake as the mystery person in question.
Barbara did acknowledge she’s happy to see “karma” striking said person, who allegedly made her cry ALL the time. She wrote in response to supportive comments:
“Thanks for the kindness. I want to avoid attention around this but I will say she was cruel to many. I know I cried my way home many nights because you try so hard to please someone who is never pleased and puts you down constantly. I can’t believe it’s actually getting back at her. Karma is real.”
Whoa! That’s INSANE! And SO bad for Blake! This is all just so incredibly damaging to her career… And not at all helpful to her legal defense!
This should go without saying, but all of this is alleged. Barbara used a relatively inactive account under the name of @barbwiretv to leave the comment, which is linked to an internet show she produced and starred in from 2013 to 2017, according to her official IMDb page. And while we can’t confirm her recollection of working with Blake, her IMDb profile DOES list her as a Fourth Assistant Director on A Simple Favor. So she wasn’t lying there!
What’s more, this is the SECOND female AD we’ve heard about Blake allegedly bullying into quitting! Per Baldoni’s suit, an AD on that film left as well, and she had to be replaced. Whoa.
What do YOU make of this mess, Perezcious readers?? Is there truth to it? Let us know in the comments down below!
