If it were Billie Eilish’s choice, we don’t think there would have been any TikTok stars at the People’s Choice Awards…
On Sunday evening, footage from the awards show began circulating online after the What Was I Made For singer was captured on video reportedly throwing shade at the internet celebrities in attendance. In the video, she’s chatting with fellow singer Kylie Minogue and can very faintly be heard making her opinion known:
“I’m like, there’s some like… TikTokers here over there. Which is just… I don’t need it.”

Ha!! She definitely tried to disguise what she was saying by covering her mouth after noticing she was being filmed, but her voice can still be faintly made out. Watch (below):

And over on X (Twitter), users agreed with the 22-year-old — with some even praising her for speaking her truth:

TMZ reported that there were, indeed some TikTokers in attendance! Or, at least major social media influencers across various platforms. Namely, that included Tana Mongeau, James Charles, Gigi Gorgeous, Alix Earle, among others. Guess Billie wasn’t feeling that choice!
Billie can’t be too mad though. She did take home the win for People’s TV Performance for her role in Swarm!
