Big Moochie Grape Gets Gucci Mane-Inspired Young Dolph Face Tattoo

Big Moochie Grape has taken a page out of Gucci Mane‘s book by getting a bold new face tattoo dedicated to his late friend and label boss Young Dolph.

Big Moochie, who also hails from Memphis, was signed to Dolph’s record label Paper Route Empire and was recently released from prison.

One of his first moves after regaining his freedom was to commemorate his slain mentor with some fresh ink.

The first of his two new tattoos is situated on his cheek and features Young Dolph’s dolphin logo with a crown and a chain.

It’s reminiscent of the “Brrr” ice cream cone that Gucci Mane famously had inked on his cheek in 2011 and recently admitted he has mixed feelings about.

The other is on the back of his neck and is of the Paper Route Empire logo.

Big Moochie Grape celebrated his release from prison earlier this week, though it is not currently known what he was serving time for.

The Memphis rapper wrote on Instagram shortly after his release: “Came home and got str8 to it working my ass off now u lil N-ggas in big trouble GRAPE BACC HOME LLKINGFLIPPA EAT OR GET ATE 2 OTW.”

He also posted a number of photos of him in a recording studio.

In November, Moochie released his mixtape East Haiti Baby Deluxe: Incarcerated from behind bars, which boasted appearances from Key Glock, YFN Lucci and C-Murder as well as a posthumous feature from Young Dolph.

Dolph (real name Adolph Thornton) was killed in November 2021 after he was shot several times while in a cookie shop in Memphis.

Four men have been charged in relation to the murder, including Hernandez Govan who is alleged by prosecutors to have ordered the hit.

Young Dolph’s Alleged Murder Mastermind Appears Before New Judge For First Time

The accused killers will have to wait to learn their fate as the trial for Dolph’s murder was recently delayed after the judge recused himself from the case.

Shortly after, Dolph’s fiancée, Mia Jaye, spoke out and criticized the delays in the proceedings.

“I’m fed up. It’s been two years’ worth of conspiracies. Two years’ worth of unknowing. Two years’ worth of people not properly communicating to you,” she told Rolling Stone.

“I didn’t know if garnering more attention would hurt or help, and I wanted to help. I feel like I tried that, and I don’t feel like it was helping. I feel like we weren’t being taken seriously.”

She also speculated on the reason Dolph was killed, saying: “If I were to guess, based on the history of things — rap shit, bro. A song, or two. Some ego shit.

“Let’s break that down even more. Ego shit. He not here because of ego… He’s not here because of some ego shit… At the end of the fucking day, we killing people because of a bruised, a scarred ego?”

The trial is currently set to begin on March 11.
