Bibb Sheriff’s Office looking for missing 18-year-old

MACON, Ga. — The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing 18-year-old.

They say 18-year-old Luis Marco Hernandez was last seen at his home in the 1200 block of North Plantation Parkway on Dec. 19.

His aunt says she and Hernandez got into an argument about the home being messy and he left the home without her knowing.

Deputies searched the area but did not find him.

On Dec. 20, deputies came back to the home to file a missing person report because Hernandez had not returned, the release says.

They say Hernandez may have left home with a bag containing some of his belongings including a Glock 19 that his Aunt says he usually carries for protection.

Hernandez’s Aunt says he would only be considered a danger to himself, not to others.

Hernandez is described as a white male; he is around 5 feet, 9 inches in height and weighs approximately 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing dark pants, a bright orange shirt, a dark jacket and dark boots.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Luis Marco Hernandez are asked to call the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or call the Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
