Beyoncé has won her battle with Donald Trump, with the Republican candidate no longer allowed to use her song “Freedom” as part of his campaign.
According to Rolling Stone, Queen B filed a cease and desist against the Trump campaign after his spokesperson Steven Cheung posted a video of the presidential candidate walking off a plane, soundtracked by her 2016 Kendrick Lamar collaboration.
Beyoncé, as well as her record label and publisher, objected to the use of “Freedom” by the Trump team and have successfully blocked them from using the song.
The video posted by Cheung has also been taken down from social media.

However, Beyoncé has been happy for Democratic candidate Kamala Harris to use the song as an integral part of her campaign, with the Lemonade track a recurring theme in the current vice president’s public appearances and campaign videos.
Bey is also rumored to be making a surprise appearance at the ongoing Democratic National Convention in Chicago.
Harris has received much support from the Hip Hop community, with Quavo and Megan Thee Stallion both making appearances at a rally in Atlanta last month.
Megan performed a medley of her biggest hits and also said to the 10,000-strong crowd: “Lets get this done, hotties. Hotties for Harris!”
The Migos rapper then appeared to give a more serious speech about gun violence.
He said: “One of the issues I care about is resolving the gun violence issue. You can’t understand the struggles of gun violence if you’re not in the field or in the heart of it. So one thing I learned about working with Vice President Harris is she always stands on business.
“From inviting me to the White House last year to discuss these solutions, to passing the biggest gun safety laws today. So it’s only right in the birthplace of the culture, it’s also the same place to launch the first African American woman to run for president. Yeah, we changing the culture again!”
The Democratic National Convention has already seen surprise musical performances from Common and Lil Jon, the latter of whom treated the blue side of the aisle to a raucous rendition of his 2013 hit “Turn Down for What.”
