Beats That Sleigh: Listen to Spinnin' Records' First-Ever Christmas Album

If candy canes and mistletoe had a pulsing heart, it would beat inside Spinnin’ Records’ snappy Christmas album, the first of its kind from the storied electronic music label.

With its bottomless inventory of generational dance anthems, Spinnin’ is one of the world’s most influential EDM labels and brands. The imprint’s beloved YouTube channel recently eclipsed a record-breaking 30 million subscribers, a milestone that established them as one of the platform’s biggest music destinations, per a press release.

Spinnin’ is now sliding down the chimney with Christmas Dance Party 2023, which is out now. The new album channels the merriment of many Yuletide classics and reimagines them for the dancefloor, like “Silent Night,” “Jingle Bell Rock” and “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.”

The album’s tracks were released by producers operating under the hood of a handful of cheesy pseudonyms, like “Mistle Tunes,” “Miss L Toe” and “Santa is a DJ.” But each record was produced by the trio of Addy van der Zwan, Mark Nieuwehhuijzen and Maurice Oude Booyink, the lattermost of whom has released a plethora of records on Spinnin’ under his alias, Joe Stone.
